Job Description:

Hyperbaric Oxygen Tech - Wound Care

Full-Time 7:30a - 4pm

The Hyperbaric Oxygen Tech is responsible for age-appropriate patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Assists in gathering initial assessment data (excluding admission physical assessment).

Contributes to re-assessments.

Evaluates patients progress toward established goals, communicating with RN as needed. Includes patients, families and significant other in data collection.

Performs treatments and administers medications per policies and procedures and within scope of LPN practice.

Requirements:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program leading to licensure.

Current unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of hire. 

Completion of an Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society (U.H.M.S) approved 40-hour training course required within 6 months of hire.

Certified Hyperbaric Tech certification required within 24 months of hire.
