Leidos Dynetics, Hypersonics Division is seeking a qualified Hypersonic Systems Solution Architect for its for its Hypersonics Engineering, Integration and Test Department. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Leidos Dynetics is involved in multiple contracts to provide hardware and systems for launchers, hypersonics, and target surrogates for several DoD customers. The position will provide technical leadership for delivering innovative solutions in pursuit of new opportunities as well as technology improvements to existing programs in the areas of boost glide and air-breathing hypersonic systems, reentry systems and targets, advanced materials and high-speed/hypersonic testing. Successful candidates will interact with internal and external stakeholders to define system level requirements. The candidates will then define plans including design requirements, allocations, and M&S plans for execution by Leidos and external team members. Finally, the candidate will integrate results of analysis and tests performed into a comprehensive customer deliverable demonstrating design capabilities and the ability to meet the customer needs.
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will serve as the Hypersonic Systems Solution Architect that support Engineering in developing and executing the strategy for our hypersonics and strategic systems portfolio. Experience with weapon systems, preferably missile, reentry systems, and hypersonic systems is required. Familiarity with system architectures, CONOPS, and propulsion solutions is desired. The position will be the creative and trusted agent of the Division and Functional Management to shape customer requirements, translate customer needs into actionable features, drive differentiation in Leidos’ solutions and help create a compelling technical solution. The candidate is expected to be a critical partner with the technology, engineering, other solution architects and coalesce the division’s strategy along with the technology strategy. Align IRAD needs with solution campaigns.
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM degree program from an ABET accredited school is required. Candidate should have 12+ years of relevant experience.

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
