Responsibilities:

Utilize current drafting practices and tools for completion of assigned drafting tasksAssist in the development of instrumentation drawings, data sheets, I/O wiring diagrams, P&IDs, PDFs, and loop diagramsAssemble typical details as required to support Instrumentation and Control drawingsAssist in the preparation of estimates and material lists with project engineer’s or project manager’s guidanceDevelop control panel elevation drawingsAssist in quality checking of drafted product and conformance with drawing production standards and project specific CAD/BIM requirementsProvide basic technical support for 2D schematic CAD applicationsDevelop basic SCADA block diagramsSize flow meters and meter selection

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as an I&C DrafterProficient with MicroStation and AutoCADUnderstanding of the application of instrumentation controlsFamiliar with International Society of Automation (ISA) standardsWorking knowledge of water, wastewater, and infrastructure designFundamental understanding of converting data between MicroStation and AutoCADBasic understanding of fiber optic cable routingUnderstanding of basic network cabinetsExperience in working with multiple discipline projectsDemonstrated proficiency in the development of 2D Electrical and Instrumentation schematic drawingsWorking knowledge of P&ID CAD applicationsWorking knowledge of database softwareAbout Actalent
