Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be involved in critical projects within Belgian nuclear units, focusing on instrumentation and control/command systems. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to major projects in the energy sector.
Responsibilities:
Basic Studies: Conduct preliminary studies to define project requirements and technical specifications. Technical Specification Preparation: Develop and draft detailed technical documents for instrumentation and control systems. Coordination and Monitoring of Detailed Studies: Oversee and coordinate detailed studies conducted by suppliers, ensuring alignment with project requirements. Contract Management with Suppliers: Negotiate and manage contracts, including monitoring supplier obligations. Site Supervision: Monitor on-site activities to ensure work progresses according to specifications and schedules. Testing Procedures Preparation/Evaluation: Develop, evaluate, and approve testing procedures to ensure the quality and performance of installations. Coordination and Execution of Tests: Plan and supervise tests to verify system compliance with established standards and specifications. Documentation Assembly and Evaluation: Compile and assess technical and operational documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.Requirements:
Experience: 5 to 20 years of experience in the energy sector, with significant experience in instrumentation and control/command. Experience in the oil and gas sector is also appreciated. Languages: Fluent in both French and English, with strong oral and written communication skills. Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with suppliers.Desired Qualities:
