Position: I&C Engineer
Pay - $75-77/hour
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to electrical engineering design.
Responsibilities:
• Perform a broad range of I&C design activities, including design definition, control systems architecture and development, digital systems, PLC, DCS, network configuration, logic development, network switches, process controls, P&ID development support and review, HMI, communication protocols, routing and layout, SIL, and procurement activities
• Interpret and apply National, State, and Local codes and standards, and customer design requirements for the preparation of electrical design/construction documents, specifications, and system descriptions related to assigned tasks through project startup.
• Prepare engineering cost and schedule estimates.
• Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical (Power) Engineering or similar accredited engineering B.S. with a minimum of 15 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $195000.00
Travel: There is travel pay at an hourly rate is from when the plane doors close to when they open to 8/hours on their travel days. There is per diem for food and lodging through GSA (Government per diem). $68/day for food (true per diem you get it whether you use it or not.) $110/day for lodging (Example, they need to stay in a hotel to get this per diem NOT an air b&b etc. If the hotel costs $120/day they pay the $10 difference.) This is all on top of their base hourly rate.
Plane tickets, car rental, hotel, uber/taxi will be reimbursed the following month typically within the first week.
