You will perform intermediate instrumentation and controls troubleshooting, repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance to all site equipment, systems, process measurement and control, utility, laboratory, and bench-top instrumentation.

ResponsibilitiesPerform intermediate instrumentation and controls troubleshooting.Conduct repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on all site equipment and systems.Handle process measurement and control, utility, laboratory, and bench-top instrumentation.Work with Delta V systems, VDS, Siemens PLCs, and AMS-communication/Field bus.Perform loop checks, humidity, temperature, and pH checks.Engage in calibration tasks including 4-20mA transmitters and analog devices.Troubleshoot and maintain valves, switches, and instrumentation-specific components.Ensure compliance with OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification requirements.Essential Skills5+ years of Instrumentation experience.Experience with manufacturing equipment.Experience working with Delta V systems, VDS, and Siemens PLCs.Knowledge of AMS-communication/Field bus.Experience with calibration, including loop checks, humidity, temperature, and pH checks.Understanding of process equipment, utilities, manufacturing, and lab instruments.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred but provided if needed).Experience with 4-20mA transmitters (loop calibrations) and analog devices.Instrumentation-specific troubleshooting, valves, switches.Additional Skills & QualificationsA two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, other related technical field, or equivalent military training.Two years of applicable experience in Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration, or controls.Strong installation repair and setup, troubleshooting experience.Expanded understanding of calibration concepts and requirements including accuracy testing.Ability to make independent decisions within defined scope of work.Self-driven with the ability to work with little direction.Basic understanding and application of GMPs and Life Science Industry regulations.Basic understanding of instrument, equipment, and loop calibrations in manufacturing, utilities, and laboratory environments.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with clients and coworkers.Thorough electrical panel knowledge and safety practices.Work Environment

Fully onsite role in a construction setting. This is a greenfield site with a very heavy construction presence, which is important to stress from both an environmental and safety standpoint. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with the possibility of working up to 50 hours per week. OSHA 10 certification is a big bonus; certification will be provided if needed. Steel-toed boots are required and will be reimbursed. The role involves a significant amount of hands-on work and requires attention to detail in a dynamic and evolving construction environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
