I&E Construction Representative
Job Description An employer in the Carlsbad, NM area is looking for a I&E Construction Representative. This person will support instrument & electrical and overhead power distribution construction projects within the Permian Basin. Responsible for the execution safety, quality and efficiency of onshore construction work supporting the upstream operations in the Permian Basin in West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. he I&E Construction Representative position is responsible for day-to-day oversite of activities related to project construction work executed by contractors. The Construction Representative is responsible for ensuring that construction, safety, quality, and efficiency standards are adhered to during all construction activities. Contributes to developing and mentoring of Facilities Engineering employees. Works collaboratively in a team of Facilities Engineers, Construction Representatives and HSE Specialists. Construction Representatives work with the Engineering and Operations groups to coordinate project work to reduce downtime and associated production losses. Construction Representatives are expected to actively participate in project design as well project execution phases. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of extensive oil and gas construction experience Experience developing and using Energy Isolation Plans, permit-to-work systems, Job Safety Analysis, SIMOPS, risk mitigation plans, and safety work processes related to construction activities Extensive I&E and overhead power construction experience associated with construction planning, inspection, commissioning, maintenance, and facilities upgrade projects in greenfield and brownfield assets 5+ years of experience in construction drawings and contracts including P&IDs, one lines, instrument loops Ability to build and foster relationships with field personnel, operations, contractors, customers, landowners, regulators and technical functions null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
