Job Description Insight Global is seeking an I&E Tech to be onsite between locations in Carthage, TX. This role is a direct hire position paid on an hourly basis with benefits. The I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical Technician) is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting well site and facilities automation equipment. The I&E Tech will configure meters and pressure transmitters. Perform maintenance and installation on all equipment including but not limited to pressure and tank level transmitters, level switches, gas monitors, control valves and plunger lifts. Assess automation and communication projects for internal and external evaluation. Maintain knowledge of 277/480 volt systems along with AC motors, MMCs, VFD drives, motor starters, and controls. Maintain knowledge of 120/240 volt systems and able to maintain and repair. Have training and be comfortable on electrical systems and arc flash training. Repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and performing predictive and preventative maintenance tasks on control systems, natural gas compression or pump stations, SCADA, and other equipment contained within gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. Understand and maintain ESD systems. Participate in call out/on call requirements, as this position is subject to call-outs to respond to operational issues and emergencies after working hours, at night, and on weekends and holidays. Have a general understanding of SCADA systems CygNet, Induction. Oversee the installations and run crews. Set up, troubleshoot and maintain wireless devices. Conduct function testing of critical equipment, including emergency shutdowns and monitoring. Program TotalFlows, PLCs, FisherROCs for facility control systems.
