Job Description:
Illinois Tool Works (ITW) is a Fortune 200 company that produces diversified products in global markets. Some of its products include welding equipment, automotive components, construction materials and commercial food equipment. The Food Equipment Group is one of seven ITW decentralized business segments. This position (in office) is in the Hobart Warewash Division at its Troy, Ohio facility, located 20 minutes north of Dayton, Ohio.
The Warewash Business Division produces Hobart brand commercial dishwashers that are used in hotels, casinos, restaurants, cruise ships, schools, universities and retail establishments. We are the industry leader and seeking to expand our growth in existing served markets as well as new markets.
As the IT Analyst you will provide end-user help desk support and technical support for the Warewash business systems. This includes maintenance of installed infrastructure hardware and software, as well as the upgrading, installation and configuration of these technologies and associated applications. This role will assist with the development, testing, implementation, and support of processes and requests to support the Warewash Business Division. This position supports multiple platforms including servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. This position also requires independent work, sharing information and assisting others with work assignments. Candidates for this position must have excellent problem-solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve problem situations.
What you will do:
Set up and maintain laptops and desktops for end users, according to established standardsMaintain a secure environment through Active Directory and established security policies and proceduresAssist in maintaining Warewash servers, networking, and infrastructure as neededProvide technical support for critical business application, such as ERP (Epicor) and Engineering systemsDevelop SQL queries and processes to support business needsAssist in system software upgrades as neededSupport new and existing Information Technology initiativesWhat we are looking for:
