JR68527 I4.0 Analyst - Smart MFG & AI, Cost

As an Industry 4.0 (I4.0) Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business. The team will apply industry-leading best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.

Responsibilities and Tasks

You will work with a team of Data Scientist and Data Engineers, making an important contribution to the design, analysis, and implementation of data science solutions and business improvement ideas. You will also work closely with key stakeholders to ensure positive impact and sustainable results. In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

Collaborate with Data Engineers & Data Scientists to deliver I4.0 projects that require the coordination and support of resources from global teamsWork closely with stakeholders including Engineering team, Procurement team, Central Cost Team, Site Cost teams and Program Management team to identify and implement end-to-end AI-based solution for identification of cost opportunities and value captureQuantify, track, and monitor financial/operational impact of I4.0 solutions to the businessIdentify new I4.0 use-cases and best practices across strategic and operational procurement processesDevelop business case, including impact validation approach, ROI of potential solutions and prioritize & propose projects for implementationAbility to think critically and break down complex data/processes to identify key levers and applicable solutions

Qualifications

At least 3-5 years of work experience in Cost projects and Cost initiatives within Operations functionsFamiliar with processes, systems and solutions preferably in the semiconductor industryExcellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to effectively lead and present to small and large groupsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven ability to work multi-functionally with peers, senior and mid-level managementPeer leadership and relationship management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized and ability to remain flexible to the changing business needs
