**Overview** The **Overnight Janitoria** l role provides the deep cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area at the airport. **Title:** Overnight Janitorial **Pay Rate:** 16.25 per hour **Location:** Dulles International Airport **Job Classification:** Full-Time, Non-Exempt **Shift:** + 09:30 PM to 06:00 AM + MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ON **Saturday, Sunday, and three weekdays (total of 5 days).** You will have two days consecutive days off between Monday and Friday. **Pay Rate:** 16.25 **Essential Functions** + Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. + Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems + Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. + Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities + Cleaners must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. **Responsibilities:** + Clean and maintain buildings/facilities + Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures + Notify the Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems + Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. + Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities + Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment + Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks + Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees + Wash and replace blinds + Gather and empty trash + Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks + Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas + Service, clean, and supply restrooms **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1 yr of similar work experience **Qualification:** + Must be 18 years of age or older. + Must meet all requirements to receive **required airport SIDA badge, and Customs Seal** , including completion of a background check and ten-year work history. + **Must be willing to work on Saturday, Sunday, and three days from the weekdays.
