Summary:

As an Identity Governance and Administration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity governance solutions within the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of the organization's systems and data by managing user identities, access privileges, and permissions effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement, and maintain identity governance solutions to manage user identities, roles, and access privileges across the organization's systems and applications.

Develop and enforce access control policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security and compliance of user access.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective identity and access management solutions.

Perform access reviews, certifications, and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Configure and customize identity governance tools and platforms to meet the specific needs of the organization.

Monitor and analyze access patterns, user behavior, and security events to detect and mitigate risks related to identity and access management.

Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on identity governance best practices, processes, and technologies.

Participate in the evaluation and selection of identity governance tools, technologies, and vendors.

Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and threats in identity and access management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to identity governance for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.

Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to integrate identity governance solutions with other security controls and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus.

Proven experience (2+ years) in implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions, preferably in large enterprise environments.

In-depth knowledge of identity governance principles, concepts, and best practices.

Hands-on experience with identity governance tools and platforms such as SailPoint, Forefront Identity Manager, Saviynt or similar.

Strong understanding of authentication protocols, directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory), and single sign-on (SSO) technologies.
