**Your role and responsibilities**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to become a Software Dealmaker for the National market. People in this role lead large software deals from discovery to execution of IBM Software Enterprise License Agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with some level of experience in negotiation and software sales.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Finance Education
* Ability to position business value effectively to clients
* Develop compelling proposals that communicate business value and deal propositions effectively
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* Work with the greater team and oversee the entire sales process
* Ensure attention to detail and adherence to process requirements
* Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and take accountability for results
* Self-starter who thrives in a high-accountability environment
* Desire to learn:
* Enterprise Software Sales from initial discovery through execution of licensing agreements
* Conduct negotiations with precision and strategic thinking
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Strong attention to detail
* Experience in developing proposals or positioning business value
* Excellent presentation skills to articulate complex proposals effectively
* Negotiation skills
* Familiarity with software sales
