Type: Contract Job Title: IT App Developer III Location: Wilmington, NC - On site A successful candidate in this position will possess strong soft skills as well as: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Strong organizational skills Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced application developer / integrator to join our Information Technology team for a site-wide, IBM Maximo integration project. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and integrate front-end user interfaces or applications that facilitate the input and transmission of production floor data to Maximo. The role also includes creating Microsoft PowerBI dashboards for work order tracking and equipment trend analysis and customizing Maximo portals for various operational areas. Key Responsibilities: Develop front-end user interfaces/applications for capturing production floor data and transmitting it to IBM Maximo. Design and implement Maximo portals for different production areas and work order classifications. Create and optimize Microsoft PowerBI dashboards to display work order information and equipment trends, filtered by operational areas. Integrate SQL with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# to interact with Wilmington plant databases. Set up field connections and PowerBI interfaces for streamlined data access. Provide training on Maximo interfaces and customized portals for various departments, including Maintenance, Pollution Abatement, and Facilities. Required Skills: Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the industrial environment, such as SQL, Python, Java, or C#. Experience with PowerBI and PI for creating dashboards and queries. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various departments. Ability to integrate SQL with other programming languages for database interactions. Preferred Qualifications Experience or familiarity with IBM Maximo or other CMMS systems. Understanding of manufacturing processes and operations. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in programming, database management, or business intelligence tools are a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills for training and knowledge transfer purposes.
