GDIT is seeking an IBM Watson Engineer to help support our ETM-NG in the Pentagon. As an IBM Watson Engineer, you will ensure the smooth operation of IBM AIOps by deploying and maintaining an enterprise-level network monitoring solution.

How an IBM Watson Engineer will make an impact:
Design, develop, and deploy AI models using IBM Watson that leverage Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning to be deployed on NIPR and SIPR.Maintain and optimize AI systems driving automated consolidation and grouping of events into smarter, more actionable incident datasets to help reduce manual processes and keep teams efficient.Integrate IBM Watson AI technologies with existing monitoring and restoral of services tools for the network backbone, Domain Name Services, and Software Defined Networking for over 45,000 usersCollaborate with IT and business teams to define project specifications and develop solutions to correlate data across all relevant sources.Conduct performance evaluations of AI deployments to detect hidden anomalies, auto-ticket open, self-healing automations, auto-ticket close, and end-to-end monitoring (service monitoring).Provide technical leadership and guidance in the form of executive views, operational views, customer (agencies) views and engineer views with the ability to provide ad-hoc and interval reporting to provide leadership with real-time situational awareness.Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and IBM technology ecosystems.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED – REQUIRED:
CLEARANCE: Security Clearance Level: Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret ClearanceCERTIFICATION(S): Active Security+ CE Certification (or higher) at time of hire. Certifications in IBM Watson ideal.EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience and 8 yrs work expYEAR’S EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with IBM Watson, particularly in AI model development and deployment.TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Candidates should have familiarity and/or experience with:Proficiency in MongoDB and database management on IBM platforms.Strong background in developing and managing AI projects, particularly using NLP and MLSolid understanding of integrating complex AI solutions within established networking environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
