Ice Cream Inhome Channel Lead Poland

Member of Polish Leadership Team. Reports to: General Manager Ice-cream Poland and PBU regional IC Leader. If you are in the Unilever Ice Cream business or consider choosing to work for the Unilever Ice Cream business, you will work for the Global, leading Ice Cream player with €7.9bn turnover in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025. The Head of Inhome channel position is an externally focused role, leading Ice cream business (60mE T/O in 2024) with a Key Inhome Customers. The leader is responsible for developing strong working relationships with senior customer contacts, leading a team of CDM/SKAM/KAMs to develop and deliver customer strategies, taking overall accountability for financial performance within their area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a sales team. Oversee personal accounts and ensure overall team performance meets company objectives. + Channel Management: Implement strategies to achieve competitive sales growth. Play as a contact person for senior level partners at customer level for strategic customers. + Strategic Planning and Execution: Investigate and implement innovative routes to market strategies. Acquire new impactful partnerships and set up new business accounts. Collaborate on researching and implementing new technologies aimed at enhancing efficiency and sales throughput. + Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key commercial contact for the global ice cream organization. Maintain high-level relationships through personal contact and events. + Financial and Resource Management: Proven management of capital expenditures (capex) and proper P&L understanding. + Team member of local Ice cream leadership team in Poland. Providing guidance and recommendation for general business agenda. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: SKILLS: + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience of leveraging big customer relationships. + Strong and proven negotiation skills. + Strong analytical and organizational skills. + Self-Starting, Independent and Strong Conviction. + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. + Stakeholder skills including working in an international business environment. + Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. + Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools. + Fluent Polish and English language is required. EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS: + Over 10 years of work experience in strategy and category development. + Significant IH customer management experience, with direct experience in managing key IC IH customers (Zabka, Biedronka, Stokrotka, Dino) for minimum 5 years. + University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to build and maintain high-level relationships.
