**Hiring a 3rd Shift Ice Cream Mix Operator in Harrisburg, Pa!** **Job Description** As a 3rd Shift Ice Cream Mix Operator, your primary responsibilities will be to oversee the safe and correct operation of the mix-making process, maintain accurate inventory of all ingredients and materials needed, and liaise with various department team members to ensure safe and high-quality ice cream mix is delivered to the appropriate manufacturing areas. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, be organized, and detail oriented. You must be able to lift 60 pounds continuously throughout the shift and perform routine maintenance tasks in confined areas such as tanks or tankers. **Hard Skills** + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel + Understanding of the basic flow of ice cream production from receiving, mix formulation, production, storage, and distribution + Proficiency in all aspects of mix formulation and bulk ingredient receiving + Understanding, application, and maintenance of the HACCP/HARPC plan + Ability to review and retrieve dry goods from the warehouse and place in orderly fashion for the night runs + Ability to review recipes with the batch operator and figure out slurry numbers for the night’s mixes + Ability to work on weekly task sheets each night when not dumping + Ability to wash the tanks and machines when batching is complete **Soft Skills** + Ability to multitask + Prioritization skills + Organizational skills + Detail oriented + Ability to work in a team environment and be cross-functional **Shift:** Sunday - Thursday (8pm-6am) **About Aerotek:** We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
