Description
\t\t\t\t\tCandidate will be responsible for developing methods from existing methods that are in place for the purpose of transfer and validation for the QC lab. ICP-MS methods may need to be developed for compounds and sample types without existing methods in place. Our experienced ICPMS chemist will develop and validate sample preparation (acid digestion, microwave assisted digestion, etc.) and ICPMS instrument methods. ICPMS method development and subsequent validation will be performed as per Client SOPs and meeting all requirements of Client’s QMS.Specific Tasks:•\tDevelop methods from existing methods that are in place for existing compounds o\tICP-MS and microwave digestion sample preparation methods•\tOptimize and update existing methods to meet new instrument parameters•\tWork with QC team to validate the methods for use•\tDevelopment of brand new methods for future product analysis•\tCapture and document all test method data in accordance with cGMPs•\tPrepare technical reports consistent with client's QMS requirements

\t\t\t\t\t•\t7+ years of experience for required capabilities•\tBS in Chemistry or similar or higher•\tICP-MS, GC, LC experience•\tGDP and FDA regulated facility•\tComfortable working with respirator, including PAPRCulture Fit•\tComfortable with constantly changing priorities moving from one project to the next (R&D and QC Support needed for this role)•\tMay be expeected to move between facilities (10 min drive) as part of weekly/daily expectation•\tFast moving team, with multitude of deadlines and priorities•\tMust be comfortable working with potent compounds and hazardous chemicals

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr.
