ICP-MS Chemist Position Overview: Candidate will be responsible for developing methods from existing methods that are in place for the purpose of transfer and validation for the QC lab. ICP-MS methods may need to be developed for compounds and sample types without existing methods in place. Our experienced ICPMS chemist will develop and validate sample preparation (acid digestion, microwave assisted digestion, etc.) and ICPMS instrument methods. ICPMS method development and subsequent validation will be performed as per Client SOPs and meeting all requirements of Client’s QMS. Job Responsibilities: + Develop methods from existing methods that are in place for existing compounds + ICP-MS and microwave digestion sample preparation methods + Optimize and update existing methods to meet new instrument parameters + Work with QC team to validate the methods for use + Development of brand new methods for future product analysis + Capture and document all test method data in accordance with cGMPs + Prepare technical reports consistent with client's QMS requirements Qualifications + 7+ years of experience for required capabilities + BS in Chemistry or similar or higher + ICP-MS, GC, LC experience + GDP and FDA regulated facility + Comfortable working with respirator, including PAPR + Comfortable with constantly changing priorities moving from one project to the next (R&D and QC Support needed for this role) + Fast moving team, with multitude of deadlines and priorities + Must be comfortable working with potent compounds and hazardous chemicals Pay Range: + $50-52/hr Company Benefits: + Medical, dental, and vision insurance + Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital insurance + 401(k) Retirement Plan with pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions + Voluntary Life & AD&D insurance for employees and dependents + Short and long-term disability insurance + Health Spending Account (HSA) + Transportation benefits + Employee Assistance Program + Paid Time Off (PTO), Vacation, and Sick Leave Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr.
