This role will be part of the MUFG Securities ICRO Team reporting directly to the ICRO. The role will have global responsibility covering risk architecture and change programs, policy and governance, and counterparty and market risk reporting teams.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage multiple teams with a total FTE count of 30 – multitasking on a risk-based approachOwnership of risk architecture and change budget working with all relevant stakeholders to ensure prioritization and accountable deliveryManage counterparty and market risk reporting requirements at a cost-effective wayDrive location strategy by building out off-shore platform for ICROLiaise closely with Risk Managers to support and enhance processesParticipate in audit and regulatory engagementsWork with Risk stripe lead, Technology and Data Officers to build and support sustainable control assessment modelOwn and enhance policy and procedures relating ICROSupports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersRequirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferably in a technology, business management or finance10-15 years of relevant experience in a risk reporting or risk management role; Prior experience in market or counterparty credit risk reporting preferred Strong ability to analyze and interpret dataExperience with designing and building out data control frameworksPrior experience managing project or change management initiatives5-10 years prior experience working in a global financial institutionDetailed technical knowledge of RDBMS (SQL Server or Oracle) and database design methodologies, and other data/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)Excellent communication skills, with ability to influence diverse stakeholdersStrong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a complex environment with changing prioritiesDemonstrated ability to lead a team and develop/mentor talentThe typical base pay range for this role is between $186K - $250K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
