As an ICT Design Lead, you will play a key role in advising clients on the integration of ICT systems and technologies into their projects, spanning sectors such as transportation, buildings, energy, and beyond. From developing strategic ICT masterplans to overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge solutions, you will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation and enabling smarter, more connected cities and communities. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, planners, and designers, you will provide technical leadership and guidance throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. Whether it's designing intelligent building systems, deploying advanced telecommunications networks, or optimizing digital infrastructure for sustainable energy management, you will have the opportunity to tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful solutions that meet the needs of our clients and the communities they serve.
The Opportunity
• Design management of ICT designs and construction drawings in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Develop the performance specification for ICT works using AutoCAD and/or BIM, including detailed calculations, technical specifications, drawings etc. for the construction tender.
• Ensure that the quality of project work meets agreed standards, specifications and delivery schedules.
• Carry out QA checks of drawings and documentation completed by the team producing design deliverables such as Technicians / Engineers / Design Consultants
• Maintain a reliable and consistent written and verbal communication interface with Technicians, Engineers and Consultants with very good command of English, and excellent report writing skills.

Is this role right for you?
• IT / Engineering degree related to the role or equivalent experience in related industry sectors in telecommunications.
• Large multi-campus projects experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience and understanding of building services infrastructure and the design of resilient ICT systems, including ICT equipment rooms, active fixed and wireless networks, pathways, containment system and risers for data center, operations center; structured cabling system design for in-building and outside plant; and MEP facilities for ICT e.g. power, cooling, etc
• Awareness of technical architectures of IT and OT systems and how they relate to ICT infrastructure.
• Ability to develop working relationship with key clients and suppliers at all levels, including coordination with architect, MEP teams, etc
