The Identity and Access Management team enhances and maintains highly available IAM systems and integrations serving Choice’s corporate users, franchisees, hotel staff and frequent traveler program members. As a key member of our Identity & Access Management team, you will own the definition and implementation of all user lifecycle management functions from account creation, update, and de-provisioning to access reviews. Engineers optimize system performance and user experience.

Your Responsibilities

Apply creative skills to design, implement, and maintain complex IAM capabilitiesConfigure Okta SSO (single sign-on)Write, update, and troubleshoot Okta workflows and python-based AWS lambda functionsMaintain the Okta universal directory configurationParticipate in interactive team task planning sessions, code reviews, and standup meetingsPrepare and update documentation for all new and existing IAM capabilitiesWork closely with stakeholders gathering business requirements as neededParticipate in process improvement conversations, providing recommendations and potential solutionsWork independently on larger, moderately complex projects and tasksProvide guidance and mentorship as needed within the team

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies   

Bachelor's degree in in technical field- Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent work experienceAt least 3-5 years Identity & Access Management (IAM) or functional experiencePrevious experience with Identity Governance (IGA) and/or Privileged Access Management (PAM) is a plusOkta certification preferredWorking knowledge of or certification in AWS is a plusKnowledge of CI/CD tooling and/or ServiceNow is a plusComfort and familiarity with python coding techniques and methodologiesProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordDemonstrates key competencies to includeCustomer focusComplexity managementDecision qualityAction oriented

Your Team   

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager of Identity & Access Management. You will have four peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Identity & Access Management Engineer 3, you will have the option of working remotely – OR – in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ

Remote-based associates, working from your home office will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN.
