We are seeking a creative and experienced Manager of Identity Access Management to build and lead our IAM Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IAM technologies, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. Partner with other departments to ensure secure access to systems and data. Document processes and procedures. Escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner.

 

In conjunction with organizational business units, this role is responsible for the building, delivery, and support of the IAM program. The manager will lead development, specifications, and communications of the IAM processes, program, governance, platform, as well as provide in-depth consultation to the business units and IT staff.

Responsibilities

· Ensure that authorized users have the right access to company systems, data, and applications.

· Plan, implement, and manage identity and access management solutions.

· Develop and Implement the IAM Program with policies, standards, and procedures.

· Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

· Monitor activity logs to identify security incidents.

· Work with leadership to ensure that the program meets the needs of the business and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

· Lead team of Auth, IAM, PAM/PIM, RBAC, and SSO analysts supporting the IAM strategy, vision, and execution.

· Develop and maintain training materials related to the IAM program.

· Keep up to date with the latest IAM industry development and trends.

· Manager user identity lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and account updates.

· Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

· Respond to audit findings and implement remediation measures.

· Handle escalated customer inquires and support tickets.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or better in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or previous IAM Manager experience

· 5 years of experience in IAM

· Familiarity with relevant compliance standards and regulations (e.g. SOX, GDPR, ISO27001, NIST CSF 2.0).

· Solid grasp of IAM best practices and compliance standards

· Experience implementing and managing IAM solutions across platforms (Windows, iSeries, Linux, mobile devices) in both on premise and cloud environments.

· Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, CyberArk, Entra, SailPoint, SQL databases

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

· Strong project management skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Professional certifications such as Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP)

· Experience with Identity Governance and administration (IGA) solutions

· Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools and practices

· Understanding of (Generative) AI developments and their implications for IAM and IT infrastructure.

· Familiarity with emergency trends in IAM including adaptive authentication, behavioral analytics, and zero trust architectures.

· Coaching Others: Knowledge of coaching and mentoring concepts and methods; ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness
