Identity and Access Management Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Manager to join our Information Security team. The IAM Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of our IAM program. This role will ensure the security and integrity of our systems by managing user identities, access controls, and authentication mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identity Lifecycle Management:

Develop and manage processes for the entire identity lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role management.

Ensure accurate and timely updates to user identities and access rights.

Implement and maintain identity synchronization across systems.

2. Access Management:

Design and enforce access control policies and procedures.

Manage access requests, approvals, and reviews.

Conduct regular access audits and recertifications to ensure compliance with policies.

3. Authentication and Authorization:

Implement and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.

Ensure secure and efficient authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Monitor and respond to authentication-related incidents and anomalies.

4. Identity Governance:

Develop and enforce identity governance policies and standards.

Conduct regular reviews of user access and entitlements.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Perform access certifications to ensure users have appropriate access to applications and resources.

5. Security and Compliance:

Ensure IAM practices align with overall security policies and standards.

Participate in security assessments and audits.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

6. Technology Management:

Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of IAM technologies and tools.

Stay current with emerging IAM technologies and trends.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IAM solutions.

7. Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of IAM specialists.

Provide training and support to staff on IAM policies and procedures.

Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in identity and access management or a related field.

Strong knowledge of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.

Experience with IAM tools and platforms (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Azure AD).

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
