The Identity Governance Senior Manager plays a critical role in ensuring effective identity and access management within Kemper. The IGA Manager is responsible for supporting day-to-day activities ranging from identity life cycle management (joiner, mover, and leaver), access management and access reviews, automation of processes and help build a coordinated enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) program, by leveraging key technologies and IAM best practices essential duties are as follows.
Responsibilities
Manage, lead, and develop a staff of IGA personnel. Design, develop, implement, and maintain all identity governance solutions and roadmap.Responsible for access controls, provisioning/de-provisioning, access certification of user and service accounts across systems. Establish and manage application entitlement and certification processes within the identity management systems Promote & lead security culture, awareness and driving continuous security improvements across IAM functions.Define appropriate IGA security metrics, provide regular and consolidated reporting to IAM and Information Security Leadership.Effectively collaborates with cross-departmental teams, business stakeholders, assurance, compliance, and control owners. Represent IGA services and strategies to key influencers and stakeholders across Technology and Business teams to ensure maximum effectiveness of the IAM program. Partner with IAM Engineering teams and IAM product managers to prioritize product enhancements and drive continual improvements.Partner with Service Desk and end user support areas to optimize processes and ensure positive user experience.Coordinates and oversees career development, performance management, and team communication. Develop and deliver audit reports and ensure audit controls are successfully implemented across application and other information assets and respond to audit and regulatory requests.Own and manage regulatory based access controls and ensure compliance across all functions of technology.Partner with human resources on expected changes to Workday system to manage downstream impacts to identity systems and processes.Respond to security incidents and access-related issues in a timely manner and implement corrective actions to mitigate identity risks.Qualifications
7+ years of Identity Program Management experience within enterprise-level organizations.5 years of management experienceDemonstrated Identity and Access Management governance, compliance, and operational support experienceExperience in implementation and support of IAM and PAM products.Advanced understanding of user life cycle management, authentication/authorizations, and policies around accessA deep understanding in Identity and Access management principals, methodology, and solutions including access control (role-based and discretionary), authentication, authorization, provisioning, approvals, metrics, and workflows.Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to established milestones and timelines.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written skills; expert ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proven ability to influence and gain the trust of senior-level management.Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement.Experience with regulatory and SOX controls.Highly motivated self-starter.Strong sense of ownership and driven to manage tasks to completionCandidate must be extremely well organized, disciplined, dependable, focused, and detailed-oriented.He/she will possess the ability to move quickly from task to task in a very demanding, fast-paced environment.The role demands excellent time management skills along with the ability to prioritize and solve problems quickly and calmly.Occasional travel as needed, 10% or less.This is a hybrid role, working at the local Kemper office.Kemper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
