The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing and managing skilled trade personnel. Ensures that all technical manual and regulatory standards are properly applied. Allocates resources to effectively meet mission objectives. Sustains a safe and secure work environment encompassed with V2X values and code of conduct.
Responsibilities
+ Supervises the operations of all non-reoccurring Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) work functions and special projects.
+ Trains, mentors, and oversees a variety of skilled trades including Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians and HVAC Technicians.
+ Provides problem resolution, planning, execution, and leadership of IDIQ requirements across the program areas.
+ Uses a Computer Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to correctly capture data related to project work orders and customer requests.
+ Uses a Tablet to track work orders, request material, add labor and material used against a work order.
+ Provides leadership, teamwork, building skills and supervision for assigned technicians.
+ Works with the Special Projects Manager and interfaces with the client in performing analyses of contractual data and requirements and identifying capabilities required to meet mission needs.
+ Assists the Special Projects Manager in the identification of long-range and short-range planning requirements within assigned area of operation
+ Liaisons directly with leadership for mission accomplishment and problem resolution in support of IDIQ activities.
+ Assigns technicians to projects and oversees progress.
+ Tracks material and labor used on each project and inputs information into Maximo.
+ Loads and unloads service trucks and keeps the truck in good working condition.
+ Performs announced and unannounced Quality Control Inspections.
+ May assist Operations and Maintenance (O&M) personnel with work orders.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
+ High School/GED required associate degree preferred.
+ Minimum five years of construction/renovation experience required.
+ Minimum three years of project supervision experience required.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.
+ Must be able to successful pass a preemployment drug screen and medical screening.
+ Must be able to pass a background check.
Experience & Skills
+ Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction and renovation projects.
+ Must be capable of dealing with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
+ Must be able to accurately input data.
+ Must have the ability to work independently and in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
+ Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to interact with subordinates, peers and senior personnel.
+ Able to read and interpret work orders, parts requests, drawings/schematics/blueprints, and manuals to accomplish assigned duties.
+ Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation, and teamwork.
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
+ Various shop tools and equipment, hand and power tools, and heavy machinery.
+ Extensive use of a desktop computer and multi-functional device.
+ Steel Toe shoes may be required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes, but is not limited to: face mask, head, foot, hand, vision and hearing protective devices.
Working Environment:
+ Work is generally conducted in a shop environment. However, duties may involve the conduct of work in the outdoors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic condition.
+ The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
+ The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
+ The worker is subject to vibration. Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
+ Must comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and company work rules.
+ Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays when required.
Physical Requirements:
+ Work requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending and routine lifting of equipment and boxes in an office environment.
+ The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
+ Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
