This position supports the Integrated Genomics Laboratory (IGL) by providing administrative support for the operations and strategic business planning for the IGL. This position will oversee contacts for the IGL director and USR administration to implement projects internal to the workings of the IGL (capital expenditures, service contracts, pilot funding, cost-based rates) and outreach for the IGL (presentations, web content, literature, etc.). It is responsible for utilizing key infrastructure tools such as iLab to keep operations running efficiently and reviewing potential new tools and improvements to current tools to further optimize operations in the IGL.

Function/Duties of Position iLab – Process activity in iLab, track usage as necessary and prepare usage reports for director and USR admin as needed. Submit iLab billing for validated orders. Reconcile oligonucleotide vendor reports with oligonucleotide requests entered into iLab.Outreach and training – Coordinate scheduling and planning for vendor sessions. Coordinate and provide reports and support for core oversight and core advisory committee use. Coordinate trainings and presentations for user base. Maintain IGL website as well as other outreach platforms such as Sci-Crunch, etc. Generate IGL newsletter. Raise awareness of IGL through flyers, newsletters, etc.Personnel – Maintain staff position descriptions for the director to review and utilize in GROW conversations. Coordinate and attend regular staff meetings. Coordinate meetings with individual staff, administration and user base as needed by the director.Financial – Coordinate labor distribution changes. Prepare cost-based rates utilizing vendor information, and other important inputs, and enter rates into IBS. Process journal entries, complete purchases in Oracle and by p-card, reconcile credit cards. Manage capital asset inventory and service contracts for the IGL.Other – Other administrative support duties for the IGL as necessary.  Required Qualifications

Master’s in relevant field OR

1 year of relevant experience OR

Equivalent combination of training and experience

Preferred Qualifications Experience with iLabExperience with drafting newsletters, fact sheets and other marketing communication methodsExperience with website development and maintenance Experience with Tableau or Power BI Additional Details

Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm but with opportunities for a flexible schedule as approved by the supervisor. Infrequent nights and weekends as necessary.
