Ignition Engineer - Onsite We are seeking an experienced Ignition Engineer to join our team supporting aviation projects. This role will require you to be onsite in Asheville, NC for the first 6 months, with future projects based in Greenville, SC. Job Responsibilities: + Writing and debugging Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) code in accordance with programmer work instructions or customer requirements. + Perform corrective maintenance, non-routine repair, modification, troubleshooting, calibration of PLC/HMI code, and system components. + Commission industrial networks and establish stable communication between PLCs, network components, switches, and ancillary devices. + Configuring industrial network equipment for reliable and secure plant-wide communication, with a focus on software-defined networks (SDNs), is also a key part of this role. Skills & Qualifications: + Strong experience in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, C, Java, and/or VB.Net. + Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform + Experience with SQL databases + Experience building ETL Packages + Integration of ERP/MOMS/MES systems with HMI/SCADA systems and hands-on experience with industrial data collection/IIOT is essential.
