\n\nPurpose of Position\n\n
Supervises, coordinates and manages daily activities of In-Home Care Clients and Caregivers. Maintains regular contact with clients and caregivers to insure superior service delivery and responsive to client needs\n
\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\n
The following will be done, within the first 3-6 months, while under the supervision of the assigned IHC Supervisor III\n
\n\nBuilds served hours to 2500. If obtaining a caseload, maintain levels given.\nConducts client initial, 6-month and yearly evaluations\/home visits according to organizational policies and procedures, and the Statement of Work;\nMaintains frequent and as needed telephone contacts with clients;\nManages and maintains client case files according to regulation and organization policy. \nParticipates in any external and internal auditing practices as requested.\nAssists in hiring decisions regarding open IHC caregiver positions;\nSchedules Caregivers and assigns to clients;\nSupervises Caregivers assigned to clients \nCompletes performance evaluations for Caregivers according to organizational policy;\nAssists in marketing for caregivers as needed with Administrative Assistants\nMaintains a standby name list for available substitute Caregivers;\nResolves all complaints, incidents and\/or issues as directed by regional manager;\nReports, investigates and completes required documentation for workplace accidents in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.\nReports all unusual occurrences regarding client care to Regional Manager;\nProcesses disciplinary action with caregivers where appropriate in conjunction with regional manager and Human Resources;\nProcesses Caregivers electronic timekeeping for payroll in a timely manner; \nInsures compliance with Electronic Visit Verification;\nMakes emergency arrangements for clients including notifying AAA Case Manager and others as required;\nCorresponds and communicates as necessary with DSHS Case Management and clients; \nParticipates in IHC phone rotation program in their region; \nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\n
\n\nPosition Requirements, Competencies and Qualifications\n\n\nSatisfactorily pass criminal history and reference checks;\nValid\/current driver's license and auto insurance is required if driving;\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills;\nGood time management and organizational skills;\nAbility to work independently and cooperatively with others;\nProficient in MS Office Suite, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, WORD, etc.;\n\n

3.1 Educational Level\n\nHigh school diploma, GED or foreign equivalent required \nSome college preferred. \n\n
3.2 Experience\n\nDemonstrated ability to supervise staff.\nExperience providing services to the elderly and\/or people with disabilities preferred.\n\n\nWorking Conditions\n\n\nAbility to work in an office environment\nAbility to travel to different locations\nWork involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, standing, bending, reaching, twisting, and traveling\n\n
