Imaging Access Coordinator
Highpoint Health – Sumner
Performs a variety of duties to support administration of assigned imaging areas to include patient access functions
Reports to: Market Director of Imaging Services
Obtains documentation of orders and any supporting reports required to authorize appropriateness of procedure.Drag Edit DeleteSchedules patient procedures notifying appropriate parties of daily and weekly schedules.Drag Edit DeleteReceives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls. Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate.
Drag Edit DeleteGreets patients as they arrive for various Imaging services, as needed.Drag Edit DeletePreforms registration functions for those presenting for servicesDrag Edit DeleteMaintains assigned calendar(s).

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - RequiredDrag Edit DeleteRequired Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Drag Edit DeleteMinimum Work Experience
6 months experience with front office operations or customer service in the medical field, cardiovascular specialty - Preferred
