Imaging Director

**Job Description:**
The Imaging Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision for Imaging services at the facility. They administer the organization, financial viability, quality, safe delivery and review of Imaging services to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients in all modalities of imaging throughout the facility. Responsible for all Imaging Services and employees at a trauma-designated hospital. Leads and develops Imaging Managers and imaging caregivers at the facility.
**Essential Functions**
+ Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Ensures that all assigned diagnostic and interventional radiology services comply with State and Federal laws and Intermountain policies and procedures. Supports the Intermountain Operating Model by working with others for continuous improvement.

+ Caregiver Competence and Retention: Ensures that caregivers are competent operationally, clinically, and financially. + Operational Efficiency and Performance Tracking: Identifies opportunities to capture labor, equipment, and product-associated efficiencies for assigned operations. Is accountable for tracking key performance indicators and ensuring that down-time procedures and contingency plans are created, appropriate, educated to, and followed by caregivers when needed.
+ Leadership and Supervision: Provides effective leadership, supervision, and direction to assigned caregivers. Develops and implements strategies to ensure a high level of employee engagement and professional growth.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a clinical or business field. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
+ Demonstrated leadership experience
+ Demonstrated progressive experience as an Imaging Services clinician or business leader
+ Experience working with equipment, procedures, billing and compliance practices, and applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements for imaging modalities
+ Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, and scheduling applications.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in healthcare administration or business administration.
+ Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist (if required by the State for clinical discipline) or an RN with Imaging nursing experience.

+ Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
+ Completion of additional training in nuclear medicine, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, etc.

+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
+ May have the same physical requirements as those of clinical or patient care jobs, when the leader takes clinical shifts.
+ For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$57.75 - $89.14
