Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an IMAGING INTERN-CT to join our CT SCAN team! This is an excellent opportunity for current Radiology students who are interested in learning CT in addition to general scans.The Imaging Intern is a student trainee with broad-base knowledge of general radiography science and procedures. The student may have had limited clinical experience and is evolving their clinical skills. The practitioner operates various types of equipment in a progressive manner of mastery and independence. Clinical experiences occur under the general supervision of a registered technologist until competencies for their modality are met.
The Imaging Intern is a member of the patient care team and is responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the direction of radiologists and registered technologists.

Experience/Qualifications
Current enrollment in an approved radiography program.Previous work experience in an acute care setting is beneficial but not required.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hireAspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
