POSITION SUMMARY The Imaging Navigator is responsible for implementing the navigation program as it pertains to Imaging results, incidental findings, follow-up, and scheduling in the Radiology division. The navigator works closely with the multidisciplinary team to navigate Imaging services across the care continuum, including follow-up of results to primary care physicians for incidental findings and scheduling additional studies after notification to appropriate providers. The Imaging navigator will monitor and communicate incidental findings from the In-flow worklist that populates recommendations based on radiology reports. The navigator helps providers by notification of specific findings and aids in the scheduling and additional follow-up of imaging exams. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education R.T. (R), RDMS or RNMinimum Experience 2 years experience in an ambulatory setting
Required Registration/License/Certification BLS within 3 months
Preferred Education BSN
Preferred Experience Prior experience as a navigator, case worker, or management Project or program development and management experience
