Imaging Specialist
**Imaging Specialist** **Position Overview** The Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing document preparation and scanning tasks for important client documents. This role ensures the accurate conversion of hardcopy files into electronic images while maintaining quality standards and adherence to company procedures. **Primary Responsibilities** **Document Preparation & Scanning** + Sort and prepare hard copy records for scanning based on specific client requests. + Scan hardcopy files into electronic images using third-party software. + Perform quality checks on all scanned and prepped records to ensure accuracy. + Identify and document image errors detected during quality control. + Reassemble documents back to their original condition as required. + Utilize manual data entry for required fields during validation and verification. **Process & Workflow Management** + Follow production procedures and complete internal documentation tracking. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment per Imaging Center guidelines. + Prepare documents for delivery and ensure all required documentation is complete. + Maintain scanning hardware and software, troubleshooting errors as necessary. + Assist in training new Imaging Specialists. + Comply with daily maintenance and safety checks of all equipment. **Secondary Responsibilities** + Report any issues requiring immediate attention, including employee relations or safety concerns. + Participate in safety and security drills and adhere to disaster recovery procedures. + Report all accidents and injuries immediately to a supervisor. + Travel between facilities when necessary. + Work overtime as needed. **Qualifications** **Education & Experience** + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Minimum 1 year of experience in a team-focused environment, preferably in a service industry. **Certifications & Licenses** + None required. **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities** + Strong communication skills. + Basic proficiency in PC computer skills. + Ability to remove staples, sort, file, and box records. + Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in work. + Ability to meet production goals while maintaining quality. + Adaptability to long-term project assignments. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Team collaboration skills. **Physical Requirements & Working Conditions** + Routine lifting of 20-60 lbs. + Frequent scanning, overhead reaching, bending, and stretching. + Prolonged sitting and standing periods. + Routine pushing and pulling of boxes and pallet jacks. + Ability to operate forklifts, pick lifts, and/or pallet jacks. + Primary work environment is indoors in an office setting. **Other Responsibilities** + Comply with all company policies and procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
