What You’ll Need:

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact and work well with the general public. Able to put subjects at ease by providing clear and concise instructions to achieve target imaging objectives. Strong visual discernment (attention to detail, ability to recognize high quality vs low quality images). Fast learner. Able to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly and reliably transition between them. Basic photography skills: general understanding of how to operate a camera, maintain quality and consistency of image capture. Good understanding of digital imaging (e.g., file types, resolution, manipulation); able to post process images (cropping, masking, visual grading, etc.) for analysis. At least 1-2 years of portrait photography experience. General understanding of imaging software (i.e., Photoshop). Able to travel (local, domestic and/or international) to conduct imaging sessions – studies may require imaging sessions every 2 – 4 weeks over a period of 3 months; studies routinely run throughout calendar year with heaviest workload during the winter and spring months.

Anticipated Work Hours/Schedule:

This is a less than part-time position. Work assignments are scheduled based on the terms of the research study. Studies are conducted during the work week, but each study may have a different schedule (i.e., duration of study, number of visits required by subject, etc.) In general, study hours can range between 20-40 work hours per week (depending on the length of the study). Our ideal candidate will have flexibility to flow to the work if their schedule permits.  We assign projects based on the availability of our imaging team.
