The Technical Assistant:
Provides scheduling services and exam instructions for patients and physician offices.
Maintains patient flow in productive, organized, and timely manner.
Assures accurate clerical documentation of patient information and exam data.
Provides safe and comfortable transportation for patients of all ages.
Provides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
A minimum of one year patient care experience, or accepted into a Radiology Program, or customer related field.
One year of experience in medical imaging is preferred.
Vocational/technical-related college courses preferred.
