IMG Clinical Trainer - FT Day

MAJOR FUNCTION: 

Works collaboratively under the Clinical Staff Training Manager, and the Director of Clinical competency for Inspira Medical Group and its affiliated practices to document, maintain, implement, and evaluate for the continual improvement of training programs for the clinical staff in the philosophy, culture, and skills of patient-centered and team-based clinical care within the practices. Clinical Staff Trainer must also possess a high quality of clinical competence, advanced leadership skills and be able to react quickly to prevent injury to patient or self.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education & Experience: 

Graduation from an approved accredited Medical Assistant Program, or Practical Nurse Program. High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred. Must have 2 years minimum experience.  Prior computer experience required with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.  Prior computer experience with electronic medical records required.  Experience with clinical programs development and training of clinical staff members preferred.                   

Certification/Licensure: Current certification as a Medical Assistant, or Licensed 

Practical Nurse by the NJ State Board of Nursing.   Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.        

Physical Requirements: 

Frequent lifting of less than 20lbs., sitting, and reaching.  Constant brisk walking, carrying, standing, and crouching required.   Mental capacity to perform responsibilities required.   This position may require evening and/or weekend hours.
