MAJOR FUNCTION:
Ensures that office is properly staffed and that all functions are consistently performed in a timely fashion while ensuring quality patient care. Resolves problems, answers question, supplies and/or obtains information for staff, patients and IMG/UC administration. Responsible for personnel management to include clinical and non-clinical staff. Responsible for the enforcement of clinic policies and procedures. Overall responsibility for routine business and clinical functions through administrative and clinical staff to ensure maximum utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services of assigned practice. Actively engages staff and providers in daily practice huddles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
An Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. In lieu of a degree, equivalent years of experience in business operations. One to three years of experience in an out-patient clinic and/or physician's office required.Certification/Licensure:
Must possess a valid driver’s license and car insurance and be able to travel between sites as required.Knowledge & Skills:
Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making. Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff and patients. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Ability to handle information in a confidential manner.
