**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** This position is responsible for the assembly of low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets for the manufacture of products. Assemblers will be responsible for taking a blueprint or work order, gathering appropriate materials and hardware, using hand and power tools to follow the work instructions, and performing a basic inspection to ensure the product is manufactured with quality. **Responsibilities** + Interpret assembly and elevation drawings + Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies + Read tape measure + Use manual hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, pliers) + Use power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench) **Essential Skills** + At least 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder, or Automotive Mechanic working in a job shop environment + Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics + Ability to use shop equipment and hand tools + Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals + Fluency in reading, writing, and conversing in English **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or Technical School preferred but not required **Why Work Here?** We offer good benefits and long-term earning opportunities.
