Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Material Handler with experience in cherry picking, reach truck, or forklift operations. Warehouse experience is beneficial, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The ideal candidate must be willing to train on an order picker (cherry picker) and be comfortable with heights. Responsibilities will initially include hand picking, packing, or working in the shipping area until trained on the equipment. Once trained, the role will involve operating a cherry picker and picking products for shipping while meeting required picking rates.

Work Environment

You will be working in a parts distribution center for a manufacturer of large cleaning/sweeping machines, equipment, and parts. The facility is not climate-controlled, so be prepared for hot summers and cool winters. Shorts and tank tops are acceptable attire. Must be willing to work overtime if needed. The first shifts start at 7am, 8am, and 10am, and the second shift starts at 1:30 PM. Breaks are scheduled throughout the day, and trainers and leads are easily identifiable by their light blue and dark blue shirts, respectively.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
