Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Chemist II to join our team in a regulated GLP bioanalysis environment. This is a 100% on-site position that plays a critical role in supporting regulated clinical and non-clinical studies using HPLC-MS to quantify analyte concentrations in biological samples. The assignment is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
ResponsibilitiesConduct bioanalytical sample analysis using HPLC-MS.Perform general lab tasks including lab safety, solution preparations, and using balances, pH meters, pipettes, and other instruments.Utilize bioanalytical extraction techniques and instrumentation such as PPT, LLE, and SPE.Process and analyze data using SCIEX Analyst.Maintain good documentation practices in accordance with ALCOA principles.Ensure compliance with GLP and other regulatory requirements.Work with Laboratory Information Management Systems.Collaborate effectively in a group setting within a fast-paced environment.Essential Skills2 years of bioanalytical sample analysis using HPLC-MS.Proficiency in HPLC-MS data processing and analysis with SCIEX Analyst.Strong general lab skills including lab safety, solution preparations, and instrument usage.Knowledge of bioanalytical extraction techniques and instrumentation such as PPT, LLE, and SPE.Good documentation skills adhering to ALCOA principles.Familiarity with GLP/GCLP requirements.Experience with electronic systems.Ability to work in a matrixed environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS in Chemistry or related science with 2-5 years of lab experience, or a Master's degree.Bioanalytical method development and validation experience.Hands-on experience with automation equipment and robotic pipettors.Work Environment
This is a 100% on-site role within a group setting, operating in a fast-paced environment with a strong team culture. The work involves supporting regulated clinical and non-clinical studies using HPLC-MS to quantify analyte concentrations in biological samples. The position follows a Monday to Friday, 1st shift schedule.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
