Location: Houston and surrounding areas.

Looking for a billngual speaking caregiver (Korean/English), experienced with Alzheimers' and able to transport client to doctor's appointments, errands and/or outings. 

Day time schedule, 30-40 hours per week. 

 

Pay rate: $12.50-$14.50/hour

 

Caregivers with a vehicle, a valid Driver's license and vehicle insurance are a MUST.

What You Will Do:

You will have the ultimate responsibility to help implement customized care plans that encompass solutions to nurture the whole person in mind, body and spirit. You will be providing impeccable care to clients by assisting in scheduled activities as well as overall care management. You will treat your clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their homeHelp execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans Complete daily tasks (ADLs) in a safe and professional manner Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional supportAssist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparationKeep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all timesProvide transportation to and from appointments as neededAdministrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior Qualifications

Requirements:

Must have at least one year of caregiving experience Vehicle, proof of a valid Driver's license and vehicle insuranceWeekend availabilityDementia experienceProof of eligibility to work in the United StatesPass a background checkPass an Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) check, as defined by Texas lawAbility to follow written and verbal care instructions, and document timely and accurately in systemsEmpathy for the needs of the clientTreats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and presents a positive public imageMaintains confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information

Non-Required Preferred Skills, Education and Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalentLicensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA, if applicableCOVID-19 VaccinationCPR and First Aid CertificationHave a smartphone
