Description We are in search of an Immigration Paralegal for our team based in Woodstock, GA. The role will involve handling immigration petitions, family-based and employment-based, removal defense, and hearing preparation. Proficiency in Spanish is highly valuable for this role. Responsibilities: • Handle a variety of immigration cases including family-based and employment-based petitions • Prepare for and assist in immigration hearings and removal defense cases • Utilize Spanish language skills to interact with Spanish-speaking clients and manage relevant cases • Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations in all cases • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in immigration law and procedures • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective case management • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and reports. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal or in a similar role. • Comprehensive knowledge of Immigration Law and Employment-Based Immigration procedures. • Proficiency in the Spanish language, both written and spoken. • Ability to prepare legal documents, petitions, and applications under attorney supervision. • Strong research skills and ability to stay updated with immigration laws and regulations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly. • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field preferred.
