Immunoassay Associate Scientist (NEW GRADS WELCOME TO APPLY)

As an Immunoassay Associate Scientist, you will execute laboratory experiments with precision, contribute innovatively to scientific procedure design, and uphold the highest standards of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for our clients. You’ll not only set up and conduct experiments but also manage laboratory equipment, ensuring protocols are meticulously followed under the guidance of a dedicated lab services manager, researcher, or scientist.

What you’ll be doing:

Executing ELISAs, RIAs, and other immunoassay techniques in a BSL2 lab with precision and innovation.Learning required laboratory techniques under the guidance of the project leader.Performing assays and handling sample accessioning according to SOP using LIMS system.Analyzing data, uploading results to LIMS system, and preparing stock buffers.Prepare working solutions/standards and QC samples; aliquot standards, controls, and other reagents as needed.Dispensing proprietary/commercial compounds for reference material preparation and documenting all project work in laboratory notebooks according to Quintiles and GLP procedures.Reviewing run binders, notebooks, assisting in SOP modifications, adapting to program changes efficiently ensuring quality data production adhering to timelines.Ordering and stocking laboratory supplies; maintaining MSDS chemical inventory as well as calibration certifications and CoA files while inspecting instruments routinely.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field.1 year of related experience.Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in GLP laboratory environment.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

Technical expertise in serological immunoassay techniques, instrumentation, sample handling and preparation, data analysis, and key areas of cell-culture and cell-based immunoassays.Proficiency in maintaining long-term culture, clear method development documentation, assisting with cell-based assays development, and precise processing of client samples while adhering to GLP requirements.Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), scientific directions within a team environment, and verbally communicated or draft procedures.Experienced in all routine laboratory procedures with an understanding of methodology development/validation; possesses excellent attention to detail and communication skills for effective collaboration.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $47,600.00 - $79,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
