Implant Technical Communications Advisor

Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Connecticut Dental Lab in Rocky Hill, CT or NDX Mt. Vernon Dental Lab, Mt. Vernon, NY, for an Implant Technical Communications Advisor (supporting Universities, Government, and Institutions).

Must have All on four Dental and Crown and Bridge as a Dental Lab Technician experience to apply. 

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: 

Facilitate assigned UGI technical calls Make proactive calls to follow up on completed cases as needed Complete an “administrative quality inspection” on cases, including checking items on the work ticket, prescription, billing accuracy, and adding personal notes where appropriate. Provide special attention to new accounts and accounts that are experiencing concerns Build solid relationships with staff members in UGI offices, including participation in local, regional and state dental staff organizations. Follow up on all customer issues to be sure the issues identified are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. Keep team and General manager and Sales Team aware of quality trends. Develop a plan to improve quality. Facilitate all technical case consultation with clients help with complex cases, material selection, and digital workflows Technical advisor for complex cases including implants. Hybrid knowledge a plus Completely solve and analyze issues and problems requiring investigation and research in a timely manner that relate to remakes, services failures and relationship maintenance. Report progress and concerns in a timely manner and communicate to appropriate individuals. Travel 25% of the time. All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

High school diploma or GED equivalent Required: 3 years of dental lab experience or dental assisting experience Required: Implant knowledge and experience Minimum 12 months experience of direct dental customer service experience on technical related issues Required: Clean driving record Required: Travel 25% PC literacy required: MS Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
