About the role:

It delivers real-time cross-asset trading, order management, portfolio management, risk management, position keeping, general ledger and other complex business requirements. Front Arena Professional services team is a result oriented, client focused dynamic team. They implement solutions for global clients. 

What you will be doing:

The Front Arena Lead Consultant (Functional) will work independently and within a team environment to provide professional services to FIS customers using the Front Arena software solution including, but not limited to: project implementation services, solution configuration, solution customisation and solution training. The Senior Functional Consultant makes required assessments and adherent decisions to protect and defend FIS' interests within the given framework of a mandate.

Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirementsLead and will participate in the conduct of business requirement studies and other project related activitiesConfigures Front Arena to meet Client’s requirements (may include, but not limited to: products, pricing, risk calculations, workflows, functionality, accounting configuration)May perform validation on pricing models, risk results (e.g. VaR, CVA) in Front ArenaCreates functional specifications for customisation or core software (Front Arena) enhancements; business process and product requirements definitionMay liaise with Product Management to communicate Front Arena Client requirements and expectationsConducts unit and systems tests; supports System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or mock rehearsals activities of clientsProvides continual feedback to the project manager promptly highlighting any potential issues to allow a proactive solution to be offeredCreates project documentation and deliverablesProvides training on Front Arena to clients as well as colleaguesMay act as team leader for functional aspects of consulting projects. Mentor, guide, advise and/or check work of less experienced business systems analysts and technology business consultantsContributes to the constant improvement of his/her domain through innovation and development of tools.Actively participates as a pre-sales resource in the pre-project phases at customers and prospects as a representative of the Professional Services organization.Proactively uncovers and qualifies new business opportunities with customers.

What you bring:

Knowledge / Experience:

10-15 years of relevant experience around Front Office and Middle Office area of Bank Treasury.Advanced knowledge of various financial instruments, including but not limited to exchange or OTC traded Equities, Equity Derivatives and Structured Products, Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives, FX/MM, Commodities, and/or the ability to quickly learn new instrument typesKnowledge or the ability to quickly learn Risk Management / Pricing of financial instruments, including the various pricing mechanisms. Knowledge or expertise in risk and desk level analytics, derivatives processing, position management and P&LExperience in functional aspects of enterprise financial software package configuration, customization, integration and/or implementation projectsDemonstrated experience in the analysis of systems and data to identify and understand new requirementsDemonstrated experience with functional aspects of Order Management, Asset Management, Treasury and/or Enterprise Risk Management systemsQualifications: CA/CFA/FRM or equivalent in related field.
