Implementation Engineer
Our IT client is seeking for an Implementation Engineer to join their team. As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, deployment, and support of Cisco-based network solutions. Your expertise in Cisco routing, switching, and security will be essential to delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. We're looking for someone with exceptional problem-solving skills and a talent for clear communication to join our talented team. **Job Title: Implementation Engineer** **Location: Remote (6 months project)** **Pay Range: $50-$55/hr W-2** **Qualifications:** + 7+ years of network engineering experience with a focus on Cisco technologies. + Demonstrable experience in the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of Cisco network solutions. + Proven track record in scoping, planning, and implementing network changes for critical locations. **Technical Skills:** + Expertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) at the CCNP level + Hand-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC is a must have) + Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst devices (3K, 8K, 9K series) + Strong skills in configuring and managing Cisco wireless solutions. + Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible). + Experience in creating and editing ACLs. **Certifications:** + Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is highly desirable. + Additional certifications in network security or wireless technologies are a plus. **Soft Skills:** + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. + Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Knowledge of cloud networking solutions and integrations (e.g., AWS, Azure). + Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
