The Implementation Manager will focus on the implementation, maintenance and strategic improvements of Guardian’s Group products and services across Guardian’s technology platforms in alignment with benefit rules and regulations.
The Implementation Manager provides oversight and coordination for Group Benefits Product partners to ensure all products offered are in compliance with state and federal rules, and available in market timely. The Implementation Manager will organize and prioritize delivery of new product business, as well as in force business, ensuring no gaps in implementation and communication. This position will rely heavily on coordination across multiple business units, the engagement of stakeholders while managing product delivery, pre- and post-implementation.
You Will:
Complete business impact analysis related to product delivery, which includes: gathering and writing business requirements, guiding and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other business and technical sources to effectively communicate product implementation and delivery needs.
Analyze requests based on priority and business need, assist with project funding, prioritization, delivery expectations, system and process impact, and scheduling of work; influence and exercise leadership across the business through implementation.
Manage all aspects of product implementation and communicate regularly with product partners by leading status meetings, and participating in discussions with impacted business and technical leaders.
Attend Program Increment sessions as planned to represent and advocate for Product; direct priority and exercise influence to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
Develop and maintain documentation related to actions; communicate to appropriate audiences.
Work with cross-functional and diverse teams to create and maintain optimal business and customer experience.
Manage timelines and scope, and communicate progress, risks, opportunities with Product Leadership.
Manage Group Product offering changes from both a business and customer perspective; identify, communicate, and break down project for Product Leadership to understand.
You Have:
This position requires extensive knowledge of Guardian Business Services, which includes processes, procedures, and applicable systems.
Prefer candidate has 3 - 5 years of Business Services functions experience such as analysis of, and writing, business requirements, understanding of user stories, epics and features. Experience with SAFe Agile framework a plus.
This individual must possess excellent motivational, leadership, organizational and communication skills and be very analytical and adaptable with attention to detail being essential.
The successful candidate will be customer focused and demonstrate the ability to resolve complex situations in a diverse and changing environment. This individual deals with a wide range of business services issues, a variety of departments on a national level and multiple types of system applications. Group Product knowledge strongly preferred (Disability/Absence, Life, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Health).

Comfortable with ambiguity in strategic direction. Priorities will change as current uncertainties become new standards and shape the market. There must be constant balance between proactive and reactive strategy and execution.
Works well in a collaborative and diverse team environment, understanding and employing the approach and standard operating procedures of all functional areas across Guardian.
Success will depend heavily upon building strong partnerships with all areas of the organization. It will be necessary to build consensus on many issues through persuasive presentation of well-developed, rational business cases, complete with supporting information, impact analysis, and success metrics.
Candidate must work with, and influence, peer groups and individuals with specific functional expertise. Key challenges and opportunities lie in the ability to influence and manage people, over whom there is no direct authority.

This position reports to the Product Implementation Leader for Product & Digital Offerings who reports to the Head of Product Strategy and Delivery, Group Benefits.
Location and Work Arrangement:
Work arrangement will be hybrid (three days per week in office; two days working from home).Preferred Guardian Office locations include: Bethlehem, PA; Holmdel, NJ; New York; NY; and Boston, MA.Salary Range:
$77,570.00 - $127,430.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
