Objectives of the Position

Managing and maintenance of all inbound and outbound Transportation management and documentation processes in support of assigned countries. Archiving of all applicable documentation in accordance to company and regulatory guidelinesProactively escalate cases of deviations in transportation activities to bring shipment back on track in meeting defined and agreed delivery dates. Meet defined service levels and any agreed qualitative requirements pertaining core transportation and documentation scope of work.Support monitoring and evaluation of service provider’s performance referring to agreed KPIs and conduct periodic quality reviews.

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

 

Responsible on logistics fulfilment processes (including SAP TM maintenance and process adherence) for all import and export shipments by working closely with country import export team and hub-based overseas delivery services community.Responsible to analyze issues and manage where possible, escalate to country and/or import export for attention or improvements required.Non-conformances management (NCM) and issue log maintenance and ensure reported issues are addressed with corrective action (if applicable)Consolidate and prepare import / export operational reports to management and other relevant stakeholders.Participate in system and new process flow testing where required. Initiate continuous improvement initiatives and issue resolution of supply chain issues pertaining inbound and outbound transportation management on behalf of assigned countries.Participation in import export community meetings / activities where required and support service provider management and service delivery performance in assigned countries from global services hub.   Other tasks and activities as assigned, relevant to the competency and skillset of this role and for development purposes.

 

Requirements

 

Education

Degree / Diploma (with relevant work experience) in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business Management or related field

 

Working Experience     

1-3 years in handling Import/Export logistics / order management & documentation, liaison with logistics service providers. Experience in SAP and chemical industry preferred

 

Technical & Professional Knowledge

Efficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and WordKnowledge in SAP system (Transport Management & Material Management Module) preferred.Proactive team member who takes ownership and shows persistence to achieve results and exceed expectations.Ability to work independently on problem solving and identifying solutions.Good interpersonal skills and a team playerGood command of written and spoken English is necessity.
