Job Title: Import Export Clerk

Job Description

The Import Export Clerk is responsible for providing guidance, instruction, and document completion for import/export transactions, ensuring compliance with company policy and government requirements. This role requires exercising independent judgment within established corporate guidelines. The position involves communication with suppliers to determine the country of origin and updating the system (Sitedraft) regarding the source and details of parts. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of three and interact with team members from Procurement, Design, Production Engineering, and PC&L.

ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance and instruction for import/export transactions.Ensure compliance with company policy and government requirements.Complete import/export documentation accurately and timely.Communicate with suppliers to determine the country of origin of parts.Update the system (Sitedraft) with information about the source and details of parts.Collaborate with team members from Procurement, Design, Production Engineering, and PC&L.Essential SkillsStrong data analysis skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).Experience with import/export documentation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level of customer interface experience.Ability to work independently with minimal direction.Well-organized and detail-oriented.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other relevant fields.Experience in logistics and administrative support.Experience with freight management.Work Environment

The position allows for remote work at least one day a week. Regular working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, averaging 40-45 hours per week. The position is open due to retirement and promotion.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00
